Live train map of Europe

EuroTrainTracker shows where trains are moving across Europe right now. Positions are refreshed every second and grouped into clusters, so you can zoom from a whole-continent view down to a single service without the map freezing.

Where the positions come from

Each country is read through its own official or open railway data source. Some networks publish real GPS vehicle positions; others publish timetable and delay data, which EuroTrainTracker uses to estimate where a train currently is along its route. Every marker states which of the two it is.

What you can do

  • Follow a train across borders and see whether it is running late.
  • Check departures and arrivals for any station in the connected networks.
  • Open the full stop-by-stop route of a service, with delays per stop.
  • Jump to the official operator site to buy a ticket for that route.

Country coverage

Coverage differs from network to network. The coverage table lists every connected country with its operator, data source and whether timetables, delays and live positions are available.
