Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Seller

EuroTrainTracker is operated by GiovanniGiacalone (the "Seller"). By using this website you enter into an agreement with the Seller.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use EuroTrainTracker you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. You confirm that you are of legal age or have authority to accept these terms.

3. The service

EuroTrainTracker provides live European train information — departures, arrivals, delays, positions, coverage and ticket links — aggregated from public national and European data sources. Train data is provided for information only and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate; always verify with the official railway operator before travelling.

4. Payments

Voluntary contributions are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we never see or store them.

5. Donations

The core tracking service is free to use. Visitors can make a voluntary donation — one-time or monthly — to support hosting, data sources and development. Donations are spontaneous contributions: they do not purchase goods or services and do not unlock additional features. Monthly donations can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the current billing period. See our refund policy for refunds.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular you must not:

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud or spam;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • interfere with the service's security, probe or scan it, or distribute malware;
  • scrape or bulk-harvest the service in a way that degrades it for others;
  • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service, or circumvent technical limits.

7. Intellectual property

The Seller retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Train data remains the property of the respective data providers and railway operators.

8. Service level

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely or error-free performance, and data feeds from third-party railway sources may be unavailable or incorrect at any time. All implied warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, or for travel decisions made on the basis of the displayed data. Aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions: use the feedback page.
